Hi! I can’t give you an exact amount because my mother had paid for the whole trip except for the items I purchased for myself and the food that I ate. She had gotten a bonus at work so we were able to go on this trip together :) I’ve never been out of the country before so I can’t really compare prices…

I would suggest saving up a lot of money for plane tickets! Those were the items that she had to purchase right away(not use credit for) then try to look for places to stay in airbnb which are cheaper than hotels, but a lot of the hotels we looked at/stayed at were cheap/reasonably priced for the amount of time we stayed here for

eat at a lot of convince stores and take the bus/subway to save money as well. There were a lot of students here from America going to school in Korea, so I would also suggest doing that if that’s an option for you.

I’m planning on coming back here in the future with my friend, but will pay for the trip myself but I need to save up money before returning as this trip did make my wallet cry. Definitely budget for your trip, I did not.
