Art is subjective, plus they usually pick an image dynamic enough for someone walking by the magazine to stop and pick it up, hopefully buy it. The image they chose is better for that.

trueee the appeal for magazines/the ones directing the shoots for them are very different from kpop photo cards/album/fan merch related shoots
