can i say something controversial…obviously hold idols responsible BUT i rlly think we need to start looking at the stylists behind controversial artists (tarzzan for ex). it’s a pr technique. these ppl r doing it on purpose and we need to talk about it

For Tarzzan, it goes beyond styling into the persona he puts forth. It is a really shitty way of strumming up PR.

uhhhhh tarzzan has been like this since predebut and you can’t put this one on his stylists 💀 kpop stans will blame anyone but the idol even if you know they’re the ones in the wrong

yes absolutely i agree!! for him it is him being racist. i think it goes back to pr (like u were saying), and in my opinion, the stylist sees this, recognizes it’s bad, but knows pr outweighs taking it off of him. this is on tarzzan, im not defending him! but i think there are others we need to look at too

It is for sure a multifaceted issue! It's very common for these companies and their stylists to push a "hip hop" look that just perpetuates stereotypes and in many of those instances the idols do not have much say. And then you have the idols that take the look and run with it.

i didn’t realize this was something he’s been doing for a while! i know nothing about him besides he’s perpetuating racist stereotypes. also, i said previously that idols are still to blame and need to be held responsible…im not putting it all on the stylists. just saying in some situations we need to look at them too
