Does anyone wonder how such an horrific industry (plastic surgery, SA and prostitution for labels, extremely consumerist and soulless content) became so obsessed with? It’s like nobody acknowledges it lol

It’s prob cause kpop feels a little less independent than the west, and it should be talked about more esp by fans- but I fear some of the rly loud fans who get thousands of likes on twt and stuff are bots that just regurgitate what they see but anyways, I feel like this is a canon event in being a kpop Stan and most people end up being more conscious in what they consume instead of romanticizing the industry or Korea as a country.
