Most of BTS’s recent solo releases were honestly not very good and they better get it together for the group comeback I mean it. Give me my boys back 😭

I’m going to amend my statement: most of them have been generally enjoyable. Some of them feel like they are reaching for popularity and lacking any of the passion of previous projects. All of J-Hope’s recent releases have let me down. No one can convince me that his new releases live up to the artistry of Jack in the Box, regardless of style experimentation. I feel like his new feature on Spaghetti gives me the same excitement as previous projects, but his recent singles just made me go “eh ok”

Also, while I disagree, I respect that not every solo is going to appeal to everyone and id also argue that that’s the whole point of their solos- for them to experiment individually in ways they couldn’t or wanted to when they were working as a group, not create the most universal hits (maybe Jungkook cause he said he wanted to focus on being a “Popstar” but”)- either way its not that deep and I get wym too, I think they know what they’re doing as a group & have been working with rly cool ppl!

Agree! but I think he’s just finding himself as an artist again and worked with English demos to give his fans new releases for the tour, he didn’t claim they were a reflection of his deep artistry but was able to put on an amazing show for all of them! As long as he’s finding his way back to himself and his artistry!

I disagree. Hope on the Street with the documentary was great.
