I mean I love superm and I think they would’ve been a highly successful concept if SM didn’t purposely sabotage every popular group and idol they have.. coming from someone who stans literally everyone and was there for the creation of SuperM

oh believe me i was there for their creation and the idea of taemin, baek hyun, mark and kai specifically in one group was immaculate to me. i just dont understand sms inability to properly manage a group, and some choices they made with the group. plus the marketing around superm in the western music industry was so weird, trying to push this idea that they were more "macho" and "masculine" than other groups and then in 2021 pivoting to We Do with the more bubbly concept.

Yeah no it was definitely poorly managed.. bc wdym you had a group w some of the most iconic faces in your company and just decided to abandon them after one comeback 😭 it might’ve been bc of the Lucas scandal and multiple members of this group enlisting ? Not sure tho

yeah enlistment probably played a big part and i feel like the lucas thing definitely didnt help. now with mark leaving it makes me wonder if they will just keep the group inactive. it was a cool idea but sm fumbled it so bad
