I don’t dislike internet girl but I hope they don’t go in this direction musically 😭 their self produced songs are literally so good 💔

Like their market ISNT only preteen girls you can have lyrics that aren’t corny 😭

It’s always a pattern of groups hitting big with a song and repeating that sound. I really hope that isn’t the case with katseye, they have so much talent that can reach many genres

Like why can’t they just be able to make something like their independent snippets?? They’ve played some for fans and received positive feedback and it’s clearly a sound they’re passionate about so why the cookie cutter pop??

it’s hilarious (🥲) how katseye is simultaneously marketed towards tween girls and male gaze/perverts! I just saw a comment from a young fan who was excited to see katseye doing soundcheck in regular T-shirts and sweats, since she wants to see katseye but her mom won’t let her because of their skimpy stage outfits.

I dislike the zucchini line because it’s ultimately degrading. It’s a bad sign when they have to PG the lyrics “suck d*ck” … so that their young fans can sing it?? they’re so Hollywood.

Has anyone thought of how these impressionable minds will be impacted by katseye’s styling? I wonder if they would feel that to be a successful star, you have to show midriff, cleavage, and be sexy? Anyone normal would have been weirded out by the Gabriela dance practice and Mariah Carey costumes. This is only about the styling, too… I highly recommend all eyekons watch Cheyenne Lin’s video essay about the sexualization, exploitation, and politics of Katseye. Great job, Hybe and Geffen!!!

I mean even if that wasn’t the case, yeah I think they def need to keep English innuendos in mind if their main target is the western market.

Uhh now this one’s a stretch. They’re dressing as ur average LA teenager. Some like to show more skin than others and they’re clearly respectful of those boundaries, especially with minor members. I will definitely check out the video essay, tho and understand why parents of young children might not want that. Either way, they’re not doing anything wrong.
