Maybe they’re trying to say some of these idols rap better than some black people (black people invented rap as well rock and jazz) which like yeah id say changbin raps better than some American black artists

That’s not at all what they’re saying. Doing “black culture” better isn’t just rapping. They’re obv implying the braids, fashion, aesthetic, every aspect. Especially given the current context (cbs like wayv, young posse, tarzzan idol)

I’m new to kpop idek who those are I’ve never heard of them. I was just saying that rap (just like most music) was invented by black people and if it’s invented by black people that makes it black culture. So even if there’s most context that I’m unaware of..rap is still black culture because it’s invented by black people. Now saying a rapper in kpop is a better rapper than the American rapper lil Wayne is one thing. The way the post wrote it seemed more like “white people are..

Now if there’s more context that I’m missing that’s different but that’s what I thought this was about

Imo the outfits are not racist. There are some where it’s like a little too far but besides those ones, it’s just a style people are wearing. I think as long as they aren’t making fun of the style it’s okay. That’s cultural appreciation not appropriation.
