a compliment alone is not a flirt, you have to spin it to somehow be about you. which sounds bad but it’s not. if you know they’re passionate about something the *classic* is to say they need to teach u more about it.

if you do just wanna compliment, it has to be direct so as to not be confused for a platonic girl interaction. so i often compliment ppl’s lips or eyes or smth specific so its not just “love ur style!”
