our sisters are losing access to bodily autonomy, black americans are being found hanging from trees, there’s an increase in gerrymandering to suppress POC voters, thousands are losing access to SNAP & medicaid, & some of our states have HORRIBLE education systems in place. do i need to continue???

Yeah, but I'm a southerner- the post is about people saying we deserve what's happening here because we live here. I didn't vote for this, nor can I afford to leave. The general day to day, though is just as homophobic and transphobic as it's always been in the south.
