can’t see what you’re quoting which makes me believe it was the person saying extremely aggressive things about someone else not wanted to go to therapy. which is extremely inappropriate.

well ofc it's their choice to not go to therapy but then it's also the partners choice to break up cause when your problems are so big that they affect others and you refuse to accept help then you have to live with the consequences eventually...

Well yeah but I just found it weird that they were demonizing op. But like I just think the break up was mutual.

it’s actually wild that you’re armchair diagnosing someone with a personality disorder based on a couple anonymous posts lmfao. and i’m supposed to believe y’all are the people that take mental health seriously.

Of post And people were saying that they hope the person get held involuntarily and that they can see why they broke up. And being very aggressive. I was confused on why not wanting to go to therapy is a bad thing cause well I don’t want to either.

yep saw the original but i probably blocked/got blocked by the person making aggressive comments. it just using “you should be in therapy” etc as a “socially acceptable” put down and/or threat, especially saying that someone should be involuntarily hospitalized. as someone with psychiatric trauma, i’ve tried therapy, it made all of my issues worse. it’s also not easy to find a *good* therapist. people allow for zero nuance in these conversations.

huh I think if your partner appears to have anger issues then it's perfectly fair to ask them to go to therapy, but it's still their decision on if they ultimately want to go. also trying to diagnose them is super fucking weird
