Duck gender is vibe based. Like cats. I've been calling a neighborhood cat a girl for like 5 years and then finally talked to the owners and they named the cat Dougie 💀 and the cat loves us all equally (which is surprising since I don't feed this cat)

most duck breeds are sexually dimorphic (able to tell based off of color)

...yeah, this is a silly lighthearted post? My point is literally that ducks don’t have anything close to our conceptions of gender (recall gender ≠ sex when we're randomly gendering little creatures, seemingly explicitly in ways that go against their visible sex). Like damn I do know that I'm not stupid, I just want to have some fun in life
