Like Oedipus fully thought his adoptive parents were his real parents. He was told he’d kill his dad and marry his mom and he RAN AWAY!!!! Freud using oedipus’s name for the complex where you are into your mom is a stupid misnaming because the whole point of Oedipus Rex is that Oedipus DIDNT WANT TO FUCK HIS MOM
