Aro/Ace question: I had zero romantic attraction when I was in high school. I was bullied, had an abusive parent, and therefore… I had a lot of trust issues. I didn’t feel any romantic attraction until college. Does this “count” as being Aro?

well sexuality can change overtime it's possible you were aromantic when you were younger but your romantic orientation changed over time but being aromantic means you don't experience any romantic attraction, there's also a bunch of micro labels that might be worth looking into but your lack of attraction might also have been a result of trauma based on what you've said

Aro doesn’t mean “no romantic attraction” it’s a spectrum — Aro is defined as little to no romantic attraction. If your romantic attraction is still low or experienced only in certain circumstances you may still be Aro! Either way your identify is allowed to change as you do, and there’s nothing wrong with that. If you feel this label still fits you, then own it! It’s yours!!! 🧡💛🤍🩵💙

Personally I don’t think it does but I can’t dictate how you would describe your past identity
