I hate when 🚬 post shit like “I’m gay but I never watch shows like drag race or go to gay events” like okay??? You want a prize? You still take dick up the ass like the rest of us at the end of the day

Idk like yeah i get that but im tired of ppl telling me how am i gay if i dont like drag how can i call myself a lesbian if i dont like chappell roan. Just not my cup of tea and its frustrating for other queer ppl to try and revoke the gay card for not conforming to every stereotype.

I think the real point of this post is that a lot of gay people float above their community or don’t engage with it, and think that that makes them somehow “better” or “less stereotypical”, when really we’re all queer at the end of the day, and bigots hate us whether we’re stereotypical or not.

I mean it’s not even about that specifically it’s the fact that some gay people act like not interacting with things that are perceived as stereotypically gay somehow makes them better than everyone even though homophobes despise us all the same
