Respectfully i dont think a lot of people act like that from within the lgbtq community. I know people say that but i think its a loud minority type situation. The main concern in this situation is whether or not trans people are permitted into the spaces of their gender. A trans woman doesnt want to go to a gay bar, she wants to be in the women only bar. The transphobe accusations are generally towards the “female only” type conversations

you’d be surprised, some girl on twitter was talking about how nice it was to be at this lesbian oil wrestling event without any men and even after explaining that is was trans and nb inclusive everyone was still accusing it of being a terf event 💀 and yes i know it’s my fault for being on twitter in the first place but i’ve heard similar things from queer people irl regarding lesbian only events

I think the point OP is making is chronically online or not, lesbians are more often the target of this than gay men even though gay men host more of these events & hold more of these spaces
