Trans men are (almost) always more respectful & less aggressive and threatening. Being socialized as a girl growing into a woman is so different than the reverse. Obvi not all trans women are like that, but it really is something that upsets me

No. I’m a cis lesbian. Idk why it’s so hard for you to comprehend someone calling out trans women for misogyny… it’s a little weird how quickly you are to jump to the defense of someone who called me a foid

Oh you thought you ate with that as if this isn’t a real issue I’m talking about. You sound like the men who tell women they’re lying about rape cuz they can’t comprehend how their boys could ever do something harmful

Where did i come to the defense of anyone. That sucks and is unacceptable behavior but i hear terfs saying shit like this all the time attributing transfem issues to "male socialization" making them more aggro or whatever and that sucks too

I’m not a terf, I’m a reasonable person. I love trans people, I hate misogyny. There’s been multiple occasions where trans women specifically had been misogynistic toward me or someone I care about. It has nothing to do with their transness, but male socialization is entirely real thing unfortunately. Cis people are socialized too. We all are.

Okay, so. What the fuck? I genuinely don’t understand why the hell you think that that’s an appropriate response. I didn’t call out the terf-y rhetoric, I didn’t say that you were lying and that this never happened, I didn’t call your comments transmisogynistic. But all of those are EXTREMELY valid criticisms I could have made. I chose not to because I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. I no longer want to do that.

“I don’t like TERFs” followed by “I don’t even know what they say” is a ridiculous statement. But following it with the sentence “I’m speaking from my knowledge and my own thoughts.” That’s transcendent. That’s COMEDY. And pro tip: just because you’re “speaking from [your] knowledge and own thoughts” doesnt make something NOT terf shit.

You so badly want me to be a terf because you can’t comprehend a leftist saying that trans women can be just as misogynistic as men. Misogyny isn’t reserved for just men.

I’m talking about all misogyny. Not trans misogyny. I don’t like how some trans women get a pass to be absolute redpilled incels just because they’re trans. It’s the same reason I get pissed at cishet pick me girls. It drives me nuts to see people from my own gender treating other women like that. If that makes me a terf then sure

There is zero reason why you should have an issue with what I posted and commented. You basically told me to leave the app because I said some trans women are regurgitating incel language and redpilled ideology. That’s something you tell someone to do when you can’t handle a truth or think someone is lying. So yes, I perceived your reply as you thinking I’m lying and am secretly a TERF

“I don’t get how some trans women get a pass to be absolute redpilled incels” THEY DONT. What world are you living in where they do? Also, and I can’t fucking believe I have to explain this to a self-identified “leftist,” “transmisogyny” is a word that means “misogyny specifically against trans women” and not “misogyny done by trans women”

I’m taking very deep breaths right now. Because i didn’t yell at you. Maybe you have a hard time with tone over text, but i think that the sentence I typed that reads “sorry if i came off strong” is pretty clear. And stop comparing me to rape apologists. I have done nothing that warrants that comparison. …and I think it’s important to note how you’ve used masculine language to refer to me. That might be telling.

I already answered this three hours ago. Im specifically talking about the og post and the comparison in including how you feel less threatened by trans men comparitively and including that in conjunction with this other stuff like with socialization thats very similar to terf rhetoric. I dont think youre a terf moreso cautioning about the rhetoric. Trans women arent misogynists because of some unchangeable socialization. They have more responsibility in their bigotry than that

You’ve deliberately compared me to *explicitly* male rape apologists. As for calling me “boi,” how was I supposed to know that you call everyone boi? Setting aside why you’d do that in the first place, how am I even supposed to know that you’re being truthful? It was another instance in a pattern. That’s what I’m pointing out.

I mean trans men can be just as awful as cis men but it’s less likely. But I’d argue lots of trans men have far worse misogyny and repressed former internalized misogyny and weaponize it as a means to fit in with the cis male normative

Yeah ive seen this and tbh experienced it. As a transmasc things that i used to say when i presented femininely now come off differently now that i present more masculinely, and its up to me to be aware of it. Regardless of the context of the behavior the current manifestation is what i have control over, same with trans women or cis women or cis men or whoever
