Saying “I was born a woman” is a transphobic micro-aggression, whether it was meant to be that way or not. You don’t get to speak on behalf of the entire community.

no, op is talking about cases where a woman uses her assigned gender at birth as proof that her womanhood is authentic. that inherently implies that trans women are not woman because they were not “born women”. personally, i believe that nobody is born a man or a woman, because gender is something taught to us through socialization.
