simply how am i meant to be at peace when the climate is changing and it’s genuinely hard to be outside w this heat and humidity, the us is probably about to go to war, and the trevor project has basically been shut down

I also like to remember how many places are completely devastated by war right now and it puts things into perspective. I think any Palestinian child would rather be in a position where they are not starving to death, which I assume you are not

yeah i’m not saying i have it bad rn, i in fact have it pretty good. live in a nice area in the suburbs, have solid transportation, was able to take time off work to go to an iop program. that doesn’t mean im “at peace” though, arguably i think its naive to be at peace right now, because there are palestinian children being slaughtered and starving. i don’t know how you can be “at peace” with the current atrocities
