I wouldn’t say rooted in, but they are all strongly related. So many biases are just “gasp, someone who is/does something out of the ordinary that I don’t understand? Must be wrong/horrible/gross”

People also treat furries as if they aren't contributing to society, do they not know how much money it is to get a fursuit 😭 Thousands of dollars, furries have good money (at least the ones with full suits)

in my experience as a furry, a lot of hatred of furries stems from people believing it’s a kink, and that furries are exposing them and their children to sexual content. which is just false. kink and lgbtq+ communities are strongly related though so i do feel like you have a good point here
