And im not saying this as a means of “hey look, im a good person” but more like… i just cant empathize with why Christians always have an issue with gay people I hate the notion of “You are a child of God, I could never hate you” but then turn around and say “I will not apologize for telling the Lord’s truth.” all the while they were tonguing down the same sex a year ago :/

Yeaah. Nowadays a lot of anti lgbt Christians are just using their religion as an excuse. My first time seeing a gay couple was at church where two women were sitting together with a kid, I asked my mom about it and she said they’re married. I asked how and she said because some women just prefer marrying a woman. That simple.
