And I’m a cis man and he knows I’m gay (i think he forgot because he’s an absent father at best and an abusive manipulative one at worse) so for him to explain to me the importance of queer diversity as if it’s a foreign concept and he was like “it’s good to be around people who aren’t like you” i wanted to be like bruh I’m queer and autistic my people are everywhere and im surrounded by people not like me.
