I did it until I could get out of the situation. Nothing is worth your life, and if you’re truly in danger lock tf in. Life is long, you’ll have time to transition in a safer place.

in the meantime though, finding queer community either online or somewhere irl is so so important. in especially dangerous situations having even an online community can be the world, when it’s the only place you can openly be queer.
