I’m sorry but I cannot stand this type of discourse. It’s not that serious if someone pokes fun at someone for going bald. Some of y’all just love projecting your own insecurities into online discourse staged as some academic argument about body shaming, hrt, etc. Please just get on monoxadil if you’re that scared of balding. If anything someone making fun of you for balding is gender affirming, girls make fun of cis men’s hairlines all the time and that’s what I call sisterhood. Laugh a little.

I’m jsut saying there’s a weird stigma against trans men and balding. That’s like the #1 thing on t people are afraid of, and making being bald into a bad thing is stigmatising it more

I didn’t say it was a bad thing, I said it’s funny. As for the trans men thing, idk have you tried getting over it? It’s literally just hair. Besides that’s the most masculine hairstyle there is

Saying that making fun of someone should be gender affirming for the person being made fun of is wild

Saying that people should never make fun of each other for anything is wild and antisocial. Also I’m not saying anyone has to be happy about being made fun of if it’s something they take super personally and an important boundary, I’m just pointing out the silver lining of balding. It’s a very dude thing to experience.

Yeah I’m super antisocial for not wanting to be made fun of??? I don’t like being treated badly?

You are allowed to set that boundary with the people in your life, but saying that no one is allowed to make of fun of balding because it is “contributing to the stigmatization of men going bald” is such a dreadfully serious way to conceptualize human interaction

People make fun of each other for random shit, it’s completely normal and good even. If you’re so insecure that you think all statements that make fun of balding should be demonized, then please look into minoxidil
