Omigosh right? I’m a bi lady and I see this with other bi women and enby folks all the time - it honestly makes me low-key sad for their partners. My running theory is that it’s not so much that they literally mean it, but it’s often *meant* to communicate: ‘Yeah, I’m bi and partnered with a man, but I’m still bi/queer’ - in reaction to the very real, rampant biphobia that’s out there (even in the LGBT community). But then I’m like… you could just say that instead, my dude. 😭
