All good! For me aro/ace is just the easiest label to use as I do not feel romantic or sexual attraction all that often and very rarely. However aro/ace is technically defined as having little to no romantic or sexual attraction. I happened to have found someone who for awhile we were just friends and started getting really close, mind you I was happy as a single Pringle. Then realized that the ‘little’ part of little to no attraction started pulling its weight.

Eventually the I love yous slowly shifted from being purely platonic to having a kind of weight behind them. In a way I never would have expected. Or even saw coming because no one else caused feelings like these to form.

For me I love her in a way that is very different than what just being friends means. Yes we are still each others best friend, but we can flirt with each other and mean it, I want to be able to hold her and her me and be disgustingly domestic with each other.
