How can I talk to my friend about her being lowkey homophobic? I don’t think she realizes it but I feel like there are so many microaggressions that come out of her mouth and I want to say something

Maybe if she is really close to you she could be open to change? Idk how she was brought up or if she is open minded, but I feel like if someone cares about you they should be willing to be educated on what is harmful yk?

Yeah I’d think so. She went to Wellesley her freshman year and just didn’t fit in and it was too hard academically so she had to transfer. Now she has this like vendetta against lesbians and so I feel like she’ll just group me with them. I mean I guess that’s a sign that I shouldn’t be her friend I’m just scared for her reaction? I’m not worried about being friends super long term it’s more about how she will respond in the moment
