for me i don’t body shame bc i myself am bigger, but with trump who is killing people by just being in office, i don’t see the issue, i see the issue when it’s a normal person or someone who is already struggling with that insecurity. trump is a different monster entirely

The ankles thing is about his health problems, they’re super swollen, I think it’s like a heart problem and lack of blood flow or some shit idk

Yaknow I’ve never understood the acceptance of body shaming evil people. They’re literally evil, we can bully them for a million evil things they’ve done. But do not associate their physical appearance with that evil. You can’t in one breath say “fat people are beautiful” and then say “god Trump is such a fat ugly loser!!!” Bc now the rest of us fat people just feel like you feel the same way about us Or maybe I read too deeply into it idk

Idk as a fat person I understand that I’m not a genocidal maniac and they’re not talking about me. I don’t think people with spray tans should feel bad because trump is orange

No like obviously, but I don’t like how transactional some people’s views on body positivity are. Like bigger bodies are only sometimes ok. Bigger bodies are ALWAYS ok, the person in the body can be a raving lunatic that deserves hell incarnate but it doesn’t have anything to do with his weight so why are we bringing it up?

You in different spaces than me bc we literally do not ever shut up about the bullshit Trump spews and how it’s harmful. It’s not like people only care when someone says it about Trump, its people care when harmful things are said by anyone. Especially Trump, mind you. It’s just the whole mentality of “it’s ok to insult someone’s body when I don’t like them” being the commonly held belief is stupid to me. It’s hypocritical, and I’m kind of tired of people being ok with being a hypocrite.

And that’s completely fine! I’m not against that. I’m just sharing my thought process on the subject and inviting people to think critically about it. The same logic you use to justify your actions is the exact same logic he uses for his. So by engaging in it we’re inadvertently supporting the other bc we support their logic in their eyes
