There’s been a lot of discourse around gay men in here recently and I left for a bit, but I think instead of just ignoring it or participating in the fighting I’m gonna show that gay men are not evil and I actually love everyone

There’s been a lot of discourse around everything unfortunately 😭. Just know that while I think your posts are lovely it’s not your responsibility to convince mean people gay men are cool. As a bi woman a lot of the time I feel like I have to be the perfect bisexual to prove to biphobic people that we’re cool and it’s an overwhelming pressure. But I digress I think it’s great that you are posting positive stuff because we as a community are here to support each other!

I totally get that and don’t worry I don’t feel entirely responsible for my community, I’d just like to participate in a better community :) and I definitely sympathize with how bisexual people are treated in the general community, and the lack of recognition when you aren’t in their idea of a queer relationship. This would definitely be a better place if less people were trying to get others to ‘prove’ themselves
