What mother_russia said. Genetics and fat distribution (breasts are made of fat). Some trans girlies take progesterone though which may increase breast growth, but not in all cases

It’s a genetic thing and also a weight distribution thing, so gaining weight or hormone changes can increase your cup size

Gentle massaging and monitoring your fat intake can be a little helpful, but not much. I’m going forward with fat grafts when I lose more weight to up the size and fullness a little.

implants/fat grafting mostly, gaining weight if you’re underweight, some people find taking progesterone (which for cis women can be in the form of progesterone based birth control) can promote breast growth

The common thing to do is get implants but I don’t recommend elective surgeries

Can I ask why you want bigger boobs?

it’s mainly to balance out my hips and shake of the dramatic pear silhouette. plus i just don’t think a small chest is cute on me

what makes something an elective surgery for you? do you oppose all breast augmentations?

Elective to me means no medical purpose or improvement (medical includes mental health bc yes your brain is an organ), because every surgery has risks and every day procedures can go horribly wrong. If someone chooses to get elective surgeries, I’ll warn against the risks and stuff but if they made an informed decision I’ll support their decision.

so you don’t oppose all breast augmentations? not saying it’s necessarily the case for OP, but there are many women who struggle with their mental health and body image.

No I get that they can absolutely weight the risks and decide the importance for themselves, and having control over your body is absolutely important. It just wouldn’t be my first recommendation to anyone normally

Doctors don’t tend to explain risks very well and are either in extreme support or extremely against but don’t really explain the pros and cons very well with surgeries, I’ve had over 14 surgeries (I definitely lost count) so it’s a familiar situation to debate whether or not to get them. So the cons/risks are the first thing I will bring up on elective surgeries
