These are a variety of reasons however, often times it’s because they feel that they have been betrayed/hurt by women in the past and so they don’t want to be left open to such betrayals and pain again

I have been hurt/betrayed by women as well and imo I have been left with so much more trauma from being sexually abused. I don’t wake up screaming in the middle of the night bc I have been hurt by women, I wake up screaming when I have flashback dream. Getting hurt sucks but it is not comparable to sexual abuse
