said this before and I'll say it again, whenever conservatives use talking points like this, homeless veterans, mens mental health, etc. and it seems whataboutist, that's because it is. it's never out of actual concern for those topics, it's an attempt to shutdown actual talking points that you care about but that they don't want to hear about

It’s odd…it’s almost like we already have holidays dedicated to our troops. One that’s literally coming up. At this point, we’re gonna have national ak-15 or tank day. I’d much rather have random ass holidays and holidays that matter like pride month. I do honor those fallen for us but not the ones that are making US fall

As the daughter of an active duty soldier, we don’t really care about the month, we care more about the topic that it’s celebrating (I don’t know if this makes sense)

I once went all the way around the circle with a classmate where every point he made I had a response, and instead of responding to that he made a new point. Correction with better wording: My problem isn’t you actually supporting the military it’s when people use bad faith “support” when they clearly don’t actually care about solders.

No problem at all. I can see why you’d be upset with my wording. My dad’s a veteran (gulf war I believe) so supporting the military isn’t a bad thing to me as long as you don’t also use it to hate on other people. Hes donated to a local charity that helps veterans who were injured in the service.

There’s no holiday for troops coming up. That’s my birthday, and the troops can’t take it from me. Some stores close for my birthday, it’s wild I’m so famous
