What do people mean when they say they are ace lesbians? Gen question. I thought being asexual meant you didn’t experience sexual attraction and being lesbian meant you were a woman who was sexually attracted to other women.

Worth noting that asexuality is a wide spectrum, many of us still have sex! Some of us feel desire under specific conditions or only very rarely. Some of us don’t feel desire but still want to have sex to please our partner. There’s lots of possibilities!

so asexual means you don't experience sexual attraction, but you can still experience arousal and enjoy sex so like the actual physical feeling still feels good for some aces but your partners appearance will never be the cause of arousal or add anything to sex like for example I enjoy sex but I'm very selfish with it bc I don't have any urge to touch my partner bc I'm not attracted to them

I didn’t know that. I’ve heard of identities like demisexual before, but I guess I never really considered them under the same umbrella as asexual

I guess I just don’t really get the distinction bc there’s never been someone that I have been romantically attracted to that I didn’t want to have sex with
