that’s obviously no excuse but i don’t like when people say ‘its 2026 no one cares if you’re gay’ because that’s an incredibly out of touch and oversimplified statement, in fact it’s incredibly inaccurate

if they’re gay or aro/ace then that can be both disingenuous but safe, if they’re bi or have attraction that includes their partner then it doesn’t really matter

I think it's really unfair, especially since they could just not be in a relationship. like you're knowingly hurting and betraying this other person
