I have “there is still time” written on a post-it on my bathroom mirror and I look at it every day and it helps me want to keep going

i didn’t like that they labeled it as horror, if anything it was more psychological thriller

i wouldn't even say that, more of a coming of age with creepy imagery. I wish we got to see the characters within The Pink Opaque escape the Moon guy. It would've been sick

The horror is backloaded imo. Its that final twist of the knife that makes it into horror, we see the peversion of the coming of age story, and the horror is that we don’t know if things ever went right. We’re left with the dark implication that it’s not just the story that ends there. Its Owen/Isabella that ends too. A moment of Disgustingly depressing acceptance and the feeling that you waited too long.
