kink can be celebrated with pride but not in pride parades or any other scenario where children may be present

yea it’s weird when people say “pride” so broadly like there are obviously some pride events where kink is inappropriate but there are some where it’s all adults and is fine in a certain environment

when some of yall think of kink its obvious ur thinking too hard on it lol. if someone walked in a parade dressed in leather, or wearing a hood or smth i promise a kid wouldnt immediately think its sexual. no one wants to get naked in a public pride parade around kids, thats never been the discussion.

Kink cannot be separated from Queer history and it absolutely belongs in our public events. There’s a difference between showcasing aspects of kink, such as leather, and actually being sexual.

Genuinly I’d be more concerned if a kid DID think a guy in leather or a pup mask was sexual, because it implies something bad happening at home

Because a child shouldn’t know about the sexual connotations

yes, exactly. they SHOULDNT know the sexual intent and if they do there's a need for some kind of home visit or smth.
