as a recently turned lesbian idk why ppl think sexuality is so rigid and set in stone. sexuality is so fluid and people dont get it. i could ultimately even become bi or even straight again. sexuality can change sm throughout our lives

For me as another lesbian I don’t think my sexuality ever changed. Like I think I was a lesbian from the start and the process of coming out was unpacking my internalized homophobia. I found that I was never attracted to men and that society had conditioned me into thinking I was attracted to men. So I think sexuality can be fluid but I view my sexuality as rigid

This is a self call out but I went from being adamantly straight and homophobic due to religion, to a kinda transphobic bisexual in middle school (as in grouping them separately from cis men and women), and now completely apathetic to gender as a pansexual

As someone who is bi I feel this strongly cause there are sometimes in life where I feel I’m completely straight and others where I feel like I’m completely lesbian. It just depends on who I’m attracted to at the time I guess lol.

So many straight and queer people have tried to tell me that my sexuality is fluid and that the right man can get me to like men and I hate being told that

Isn’t this called the bi-cycle? I heard this experience is pretty common amongst bisexuals, hence the name
