hey fellow queer folks uhh im just curious what dating apps have worked for you guys ? im trans and kinda worried but also wanna give something a try

i’m also trans and i’ve had some success with hinge and tinder. tinder now has the function to select “beyond the binary” as the gender you’re interested in and i’ve found it’s all queer people that way. i think hinge has a similar function too. taimi is technically for queer people but the UX is janky.

Sadly I haven’t had any luck— a lot of it can come down to your locale or if you have pretty privilege. Tinder bans me constantly because people report me for being open and honest so that’s a bust…

Dating apps are a scam and you will never find love on an app designed to make you market yourself like a product to be consumed and ultimately thrown away. You’re better off going to queer events around town and forming community that way

Mmm good point. In my city, disability is embedded in our local queer organization and they provide accommodations in most events or can get accommodations if you contact them so I wonder if there’s an equivalent near you?
