Well if you are going to a church to find a date then you’re going to meet people who regularly go to church and religion is probably important to them. That might cause some tension in the relationship. There’s better ways to find a date than church trust me.

I wouldn’t recommend going to church just to find a date but if you’re looking for community then yes! Episcopalians, Unitarian Universalists, and Quakers are all extremely gay friendly

Also there’s plenty of queer methodist Baptist and other denomination churches just that denomination in general isn’t always going to be accepting. However, the Methodist Church is currently having a huge division as the like main or united Methodist chapter is more queer friendly and trans accepting and even voted to allow them in clergy then what some other Methodist churches would want.
