Nowadays you don’t have to be athletic. I’ve seen so many ppl in relationships with heavy ppl and even have kinks for them. It’s just about the individuals and the environment you’re in. If you go to predominantly white gay spaces then yeah being white would probably give you an advantage but going to Black and Latino gay spaces being white would give you a disadvantage. Also being attractive is mediocre because that’s just something everyone wants in a partner regardless of sexuality. If

Why are you surprised it’s hard to find a partner if you aren’t attractive?? Regardless of sexuality, someone being attracted to you is a necessary component of a relationship (for most people)

I was with someone who had a thing for heavier dudes and it was actually kinda uncomfortable for me. Made me feel like i was a sex object for him. He assured me that wasnt the case but seeing the kind of media he consumed was a huge turn off

I agree 100% from a cognitive bias pov; however, I also think that having these issues in a smaller, already marginalized community is a lot more damaging to the cause because the marginalization compounds
