if you are interested in learning how to use a gun, even if you’re not intrigued in owning one, the socialist rifle association + pink pistols (queer gun club) are great places to start. attending some form of community center/events regularly makes a big difference, whether that’s at a gay community center, a religious org, library reading group, hobby etc. building a network is foundational to both personal and community well-being.
