It’s almost like sexual attraction is fluid and trying to apply a label to everyone in a single group is diminishing. Then when people speak about how they don’t feel the label represents them they get told “you’re not a real [queer identity]”

Trans men can be considered lesbian? But wouldn’t that just be a straight relationship since it’s mlw?

The reason they can use the tag lesbian id because they used to be girls and lesbian as a title should might be more comfortable or more in tune with their identity

Ahh, like if society still treated them as a woman even though that’s not how they felt?

Its just a personal tag based on what theyre comfortable with or how they view sexuality as a concept. Im bisexual but identify as gay and would do so if I were with a woman or a man

How do you view sexuality? Cause I’d be confused if someone told me they’re bi but identify as gay. Or are you saying you identify with the connotation of gay and not the definition of gay?

Damn someone downvoted me for asking a question? Why does this community hate to see growth😭

I go around and say that I’m gay because I am currently dating an amab non binary person. I do this because I dont like having to explain how being bisexual works. My view of how sexuality works would not apply to women as I am not a woman.

People just use words as easiest fit and for queer shit you should just take it as its told in regards to labels since definitions can be wishy washy depending on the language. People have been trying to use definitions to scrub us out of existence for decades now.

Maybe because this is a question that has been asked and answered 1000000 times on multiple platforms

So you’re with a non binary person but choose to actively label yourself in a relationship of two men? Or is my definition of gay wrong😅 Wouldn’t it be more accurate if you say you’re bi and in a mlnb relationship (which falls under the bi/pan umbrella)? I also will say I’m different in the sense I love explaining sexuality and gender to people. I love seeing the discussion expand so many straight people’s minds since they normally never have to question their identity in that way.

I get that. I don’t judge especially since people judge me for labeling myself as bi and not as pan even though I just love everyone. I am just curious though. Especially since, like you said, everyone has a different definition of sexuality and what it means to them. I appreciate your time and for being so civil🫡

I live in a red state who will say none of that exists because trump won. It’s literally just easier and gets the point across a lot better. I could be called pansexual but imo the label isnt important as long as people can get a rough understanding with ease

I live in a republican city and county, I know it seems impossible but you just have to learn to speak their language. They’ve been trained to associate certain “woke” words with bad things. As long as you stay away from certain triggers they 9 times out of 10 agree the common man should have the same basic human right and that the rich in power fucking suck.

Lmao we are like completely different in that respect. I hope people get a rough understanding but that’s not my main goal. My main goal is that I give the person I’m talking to all the details needed to make their proper assessment

Its transphobic to think you can “not let” other people identify how THEY WANT
