Take your time. The hardest part for me was finding the words to describe my “faith” in something, God or otherwise, that I ended up sticking with the bible verses I liked most

Just know that the Bible contradicts science as the natural world. The Bible claims that earth is around 6,000 years old (See Jesus’s genealogy). The Bible claims that space is made of water (see Genesis 1), the Bible claims that light existed before the sun was created (see Genesis 1). The Bible claims that a worldwide flood is possible even though there isn’t enough water to flood earth. I could go on and on and on.

The bible can still be read and used despite these. Like yes the bible is scientifically inaccurate, it’s spiritual fiction/esoteric texts with world application. Some ppl chose to replace the metaphor of the flood in Genesis with reality; they’re lunatics lol.
