being apolitical is a myth, politics affects everything around them they're just ignorant to it and won't be aware when it comes for them.

Being truly “apolitical” is impossible. If you don’t care about politics whatsoever, then what you really care about is things remaining the way they are. And that’s a political stance.

Being apolitical is a choice to uphold the status quo.

Apolitical means not being interested in politics. It literally is possible

Except it’s not. You want to keep the status quo. To truly not care about politics at all, you have to be completely fine with anything that happens to you. If you would start caring when things start affecting you personally, then you’re not apolitical.

Thats not what that means but alright. You like to just assert things so clearly this conversation isn't going anywhere

I will accept that you can be completely uninterested in politics if you can name a major aspect of your life that meets both the following criteria: - affected by government decisions - you’d be completely fine with it changing no matter how Because if you can’t, you have to accept that you have at least one political issue that you care about.

This framing doesn't even make sense lol being able to name one political thing you don't care about isn't what makes a person apolitical. Every person on the planet has at least one political thing they don't care about, and if you think you don't, you're either uninformed or delusional. Figure out an argument that makes sense, then come back to me.

You completely missed what I’m saying. I’m saying everyone has at least one political thing they DO care about. Which makes them political. They’re not apolitical, they just only care about their issue, and ignore all others. So in the absence of their issue being threatened they SEEM apolitical, but really they aren’t.
