They were correct. The solution is truly to touch grass. People do not act this way, the internet is not an accurate reflection of the real world

Honestly yeah. It gets better. I don’t know what happened in the last decade but the “happiest gays” and the “terminally online gays who always get stuck arguing” are in 2 separate sections of the Venn-diagram.

It just sucks because I’m trying so hard to not participate but it’s hard when I come on here and see 100 posts of “YOU ARE NOT VALID AND ALSO YOURE WEIRD AND SUCK”

Every once in a while I’ll catch myself with a chronically online take and I’ll literally make myself go sit outside. *literally* go touch grass sometimes I promise it’s helpful

True. I think discourse is a beautiful, important thing for the community. Unfortunately some of us are actually horrible people incapable of constructive communication.

don’t waste your time on people who don’t want to do anything but disrespect you, that’s my best advice. you are valid in however you identify and that is not up to anyone else, especially not randos on the internet who spread hate for fun 🫶

If the sun were the size of a basketball located in New York, the next nearest star would be 7000km away, around Colombia. Coincidentally at this scale, this is just about half the distance between the two circles of the Venn Diagram, the second of which would be located somewhere in central argentina
