Had some guys yell at me one night and I know how I look so I assumed they were just trying to be homophobic and then it registered that they said the N word and not F-slur. and I was just so dumbfounded, instead of my normal stuff that I have preped I just shouted “BUT IM WHITE” I still think about them often, I just want to know what they were even attempting to accomplish

See my thought process was that they would get in more trouble if they called me the f slur then if they called me the n word (I was in a small republican town public school) and if they called me a slur that actually applied to me that would be a hate crime and more clear cut action the school could take but by calling me the n word they bypassed that a little bit
