so i’m nb and closeted at work (i work with young children). a couple of the kids asked me if i was a boy or girl and i was like “it’s a mystery” and “what do you think i am” and they gave me: - old mcdonald -a farmer -a poopy -a peepee -a stupid

it is possible! i work in ECE and have multiple trans + nonbinary co-workers. the kids are super cool about it as long as the adults are. there’s even a child in one of the older classes who’s exploring what us as adults might recognize as being nonbinary (doesn’t want to be called a girl or a boy, just [name], for example) and the teachers/peers are supportive. i’m so lucky to work where i do.
