pro tip: if you’re having a hard time opening a pickle jar (or something similar), use a spoon to help pop the seal before opening it. put the curved side against the jar, find a gap with the tip of the spoon, and use it like a level until it pops.

i mean i struggle with it because i have multiple sclerosis and i often physically cannot grip onto the jar hard enough to twist the lid, but you’re so right, i’m sure exercise will fix it. i’ve never heard that one before.

my roommate wraps his leather belt around the lid and uses that to help pull it open
