i knew this was a thing and really hoped it would happen to me (my whole family aside from my nana has curls/waves and my brother has pretty curly hair) and unfortunately, i’m 3.5 years on T and still have very straight hair 🫠 but congrats to you!! (unless you didn’t want it then i’m sorry lol)

i already had curly hair to begin with but since i started T my curls are tighter and i grew out my hair so now i look like a young brian may 😎

This happened to my older sibling when they went on t, and I’m hoping it’ll happen to me too! Their hair also changed color from dark brown to black

t did the opposite to me, when i went on t i lost all curl in my hair and now its barely wavy at all!! but i also had a lot of life circumstances happen all at once that could've contributed to this

I had maybe 2A (light waves) and now I’ve got like, 2C-3A? (loose curls) i barely know how to take care of my hair bc the only one i know in my family with a similar hair type is my uncle and his hair is very short so it doesn’t matter much 😭 I also live in a very humid area and it frizzes like crazy but im figuring it out 🥀

for me it wasn’t T, but when i was like 17 my hair started getting wavy and has only gotten wavier. i didn’t get my period til 17 (ik) so it’s def hormone related. but literally no one else in my family, not even grandparents, have wavy hair

Basically nobody in my family has any sort of wave or curl to their hair, so I honestly don’t even know where this is coming from 🤔 I’m fortunate that it’s not too difficult to manage, but trying to style it is definitely a learning curve lmao

I love how HRT can change your hair texture but it really only does it in certain areas Let me guess, the curls are the tightest at the nape of your neck, behind your ears, and at your hairline?

damn, you must have gotten my T curls!but in all seriousness, i’m glad they arent causing you too much trouble! i’m not sure if i could put in the time that my brother does to style his hair, so im kinda grateful to have low maintenance hair (i couldn’t even commit to style bangs every day when i got them once lol, i just started wearing a headband)

Yesss hahaha those are always the best curl spots, but conveniently that’s also the areas I like to bleach and dye, so it’s loosened to match the rest a little. Pink curls are cute asf
