Thanks, thankfully despite going to what’s perceived as the “more conservative” university it managed to escape the federal crackdown so we still have an LGBTQ center and counseling and school sponsored queer clubs and pride while our liberal rival school doesn’t (this is in the south too)

Sounds like my hometown, I just move to the big city 40 minutes away and the misogyny/homophobia is CRAZY like I didn’t realize just how bad it is out here until I left home

Also I stopped in a coffee place and it was basically all queer people behind the counter is this heaven
